How Sherri Gullickson Can Help

Mediator

FDRP, NMAS Mediator, Lawyer (Hons) QUT.

For Family Dispute Matters - Property and Parenting Settlements or other matters relating to family disputes:

Sherri worked as a Solicitor for Family Law Firms and Accredited Family Lawyers where her family law work involved resolving high value property settlements and complex parenting disputes where domestic violence and or drugs and alcohol were issues. Sherri is accredited under the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) to provide FDR services and is registered with the Attorney Generals Office as an accredited FDRP.

But more importantly Sherri’s drive to achieve a sustainable settlement agreement during her mediation sessions is what sets her apart.

Preparation is at the core of her service, which involves getting a deeper insight into the issues in dispute, and understanding each party’s goals and concerns in reaching successful settlement terms. This approach is invaluable to the parties in dispute, as it gives them the confidence that they have been heard and their concerns acknowledged when bringing their voice to the negotiating table.

Whether you prefer to have your mediation session face to face or via online video call Sherri Gullickson can accommodate. Sherri can also conduct child-inclusive mediations if needed.

Sherri Gullickson Mediation is a private mediation service that gives the parties to the dispute the flexibility to have a lawyer present at their session, or alternatively, self represent.

For Commercial and Employment Settlements:

Sherri Gullickson commercial experience stems from her work experience for ANZ Bank, Insurance Australia Group (IAG), Suncorp GIO, Vodafone, small start ups within telecommunication and IT, Aged Care and Private Health as well as being an Australian Lawyer.

Mediation Services

Family Mediation Services

Family Mediation Services

Family Mediation and Family Dispute Resolution (‘FDR’) services are classifications used to describe specific types of mediation services.

Family Mediation Services will deal with all issues that fall within the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) such as Property Settlements; Child Custody/Parenting matters; Child Support Agreements; Guardianships, Consent Orders; Spousal Maintenance and Grandparent rights.

FDR Services deal specifically with parenting matters needing a settlement about Child Custody/Parenting agreements. Before a parent can file an application in the courts to decide on a dispute to do with their children, the parties are required to first make a genuine effort to resolve their parenting matter through mediation. To demonstrate this effort parents will need to attach a section 60I certificate to their application when filing their matter in the Courts, unless an exemption applies. Only accredited FDRP’s such as Sherri Gullickson can issue s60I certificates.
